Fabric Postcard by Katherine

Fabric Postcard by Katherine, (4" x 6")
Photographed by Ku'ulei
Postcard Exchange Group #39

Katherine from Arizona created this postcard in sort of a log cabin style with the African mask as its center surrounded by various strips of animal print fabrics. This bright and bold postcard screams "jungle." Movement from the fabrics' vibrant colors and designs, and the placement of each fabric strip makes this postcard an interesting composition. Great job, Katherine! Thanks for the postcard.

This is really a nice card.

I agree, Jacq. One of the benefits of participating in exchange groups is you get to receive other artists' interpretations of this art form. This card has inspired more neocolor art quilts that are in my mind and eager to jump onto a piece of fabric, any fabric. ;-D
