Sunflower 3 Before

Sunflower 3 Before

This is what I'll be working on tomorrow. I'm playing with several different images of the sunflower, attempting to find the best image that will work well for another tutorial, which will include a line drawing. I'm also thinking about doing a Sunflower Series.

I think it's really dramatic to see the Before and After of these Neocolor paintings and thought you would enjoy seeing it unfold too. Imagine . . .

you know I will be watching with excitment and like a little child will want to be in the middle of it all. Oh shucks I live too far away. Besides after a while your hubby would begin to ask "is she ever going home?"

Dove, if we lived closer to one another, art would be more exciting and enjoyable, and life would be more fulfilling.

And...your husband would wonder: "When is my Dear Dove coming home?" ;-D

Welcome, Allison. I hope you're not disappointed.

I can't wait to see the sunflower come to life. Sunflowers are among my favorite subjects. It looks as though it's spirit is lurking here - awaiting to be re-born. I've just purchased myself some Tuskineko inks, I think I'm going to give this technique a try using those. I love this style you've got going here Fannie. Can't wait to see more.

P.S. Of course you can link with me. Thanks for asking!
