Journal Making Online Workshop

March 31, 2008
Hosted by Sue Bleiweiss

Sue is currently taking registrations for her five-lessons journal making class. I'm registered and excited to begin. Maybe I'll see you there.

This is Sue's introductory description of her class:

"There’s something about writing or drawing in a journal that you’ve made yourself that makes the experience more enjoyable. In this class I’m going to show you how to make several different types of journals that you can personalize with your own themes and style."

Click HERE for detailed information about this class, including payment information.

Here are other links to Sue's Web sites that may interest you:

Fibre & Stitch--An Online Mixed Media Zine
I purchased her Premier Issue. This 62-page issue is filled with fourteen well-written articles/tutorials, including color photographs, by innovative artists, including Sue. Some of the topics are scrim, lutradur, sun printing, and lace and paper quilting.

Fibre & Stitch Free Projects
Sue is generous with her tutorials. There are 28 links to free tutorials such as fabric postcards, painted fusible, circle stitching, silk fusion and hot water stabilizers.

I'm thinking about taking this journal class too. I've been wanting to learn how to do this for quite a while.
