Swinging Bunny

Swinging Bunny, Silk Painting, (6" x 6")
Fannie Narte

This is my first attempt at silk painting. What FUN!!! I used black gutta to create the line drawing, then painted with Jacquard silk colors.

Have a "Swinging" Friday.

Happy Easter, Fannie!
This painting is adorable. I am also fascinated by the possibilities of silk painting, but I'll need a much bigger studio before I can pursue it. What do you plan to do with the painting?

Happy Easter, Regina!
What am I going to do with the painting? Um, store it? ;-D

Good work Fannie. Your bunny is so cute. Hope you have a wonderful Easter with grandchildren and childrn.

Thanks, Jacq. Silk painting is fun. I also have some Procion dyes I "need" to play with. That should be fun too. ;-D So many toys! So much fun.

How fun! This is so pretty! Seems like silk painting could get pretty addictive. I'd love to try it.

Silk painting is addictive, Kate, but soooo fun! I'm sure your work in silk painting would be beautiful, just like everything you create. I'll be watching!
