Tangled Threads

All of you participated, and all of you are "my" winners!
Each of you will receive an ACEO.

If you have any preferences, please let me know by posting your choices or sending me an e-mail. Give me your first three choices, and I will do my best to accommodate you.
If I don't hear from you, I will choose an ACEO for you.

Gayle is the winner of the Journal.

Congratulations to all of you!
Please e-mail me your mailing address.

My idea of a winner is different than the definition in the dictionary. I believe a winner is someone who takes action towards an idea or goal, works towards that idea or goal and completes it. The speed at which one completes a goal is not as important, unless that person is in a competition or working within a time allowance. In addition, the prize of first, second or third place is not as important as finishing the task. However, the movement towards a goal is important to success. One's growth and lessons are usually found in the "process" of achieving any goal. Completing or achieving that goal makes the experience sweeter.

Thank you for your thoughtful comments and for your participation. Receiving feedback and knowing that someone out there is interested in what I create or what I have to say makes blogging an enjoyable experience. Mahalo--Thank You!

Hi Fannie, Can I ask if there is a pear going? If not I would love any piece of your artwork you'd like to share with me.
I think people like you are winners and that winners have the special ability to make others feel like winners! Winners have a happy disposition, a very positive outlook on life, they make things work no matter how tough. They are the nicest people to have as friends!

Dove, you certainly make blogging and giveaways fun. You put the "play" into fun, and you remind me of being a young girl without responsibilities and feeling free to imagine and smile regardless of the outcome. Wheeeee, carefreeeeeeeee!

MorningDove, aka "TenderHeart." ;-D

You are a winner! I'm rich.

Wow, Fannie! I find your blog very inspiring and I am delighted and honored to receive a piece of your work. Thank you!

Fannie said...

Hi, Sherry. Knowing you find joy and inspiration on my blog and in my art is encouraging. Thanks!

Hi, Noel. Yes, you are all winners to me. All of us have different capacities in forward movement. For some, breathing is a forward movement. We do what we can, and that is good enough. Would you please e-mail me your address so I can send you your pansy.

Hi, Heather. Glad I got to know you through our online class. Thanks for your kind comments. Look for your ACEO in the mail.

Hi Fannie, I have just returned from holiday to find some wonderful mail from you. A beautiful pansy ATC tucked inside one of your water lily notelets, how special. Your note was certainly expressive and it should be me thanking you for your inspirational work and words of encouragement to everyone. I then logged on and scrolled back to find I had won a piece of your art from your giveaway. You must have thought that I had ignored you but no way would that happen. I went off on holiday on the 12th of the month and have only just returned. What a surprise it was, Pansy no. 10 was here on my doormat waiting for me and I didn't even know it was on it's way.
Thanks so much Fannie, you certainly are a special person.

Fannie said...

Hi, Stephanie! I hope you had a wonderful holiday, and I'm glad I got to surprise you and welcome you home in a special way. ;-D

No, I didn't think you ignored me and would not think that. I'm happy to share my art with you, and I'm grateful to let you know that I appreciate your visits and kind comments to my blog. Enjoy! I enjoy visiting your blog too. Blogs are a nice way to keep in touch. When I think of you, all I need to do is log on and read your thoughts and feel like I'm visiting you in real life. Isn't that a treat?

Stephanie Pettengell said...

Thanks for that Fannie, it is good that we keep in touch. Your blog is so active I do love visiting. Love the Pears!
