Friendship Garden

Friendship Garden, Paper Quilt, (5" x 7")
Fannie Narte

"Friendship Garden" was made from fabric paper. This paper quilt/collage was inspired by the many creative friends I've met through online classes and through blogging. My friendship garden is filled with artists who create, share and care.

Thanks for filling my garden.
Fannie

you and hubby are the flowers and all friends are the leaves - the filler so to speak. Beautiful fabric paper work.

Morning, Dove. ;-D Wonderful analogy.

July 13 is the date of my one year blog anniversary. I hope the countdown widget is correct.

What am I going to do to celebrate? Well, the first thing I will do is "sigh" and take in the moment. After that, I'll probably go to my pantry and look for chocolates. Ha, ha.

I don't know . . . any suggestions?

Thanks, Terri. As you can see, your class has stimulated my creativity. I'm grateful to you.

reminds me of art deco? stained glass, beautiful. I've just noticed that my blogversary is coming up soon. My first proper post was on 1.7.07 and I remember thinking that no one would ever read my blog !! how wrong I was :)

Thanks, Sherry. Thanks, also, for filling my garden.

Hi, Guzzisue, thanks for your comments. When is your blogversary? I can't believe it's almost a year for me. This is probably one of the longest goal I've set for myself--posting each day for a year. An ambitious goal will soon be an achieved goal . . .

Hi, Scary. The textures really do add to the design of the piece, doesn't it? Thanks for filling my garden.

Hugs back at you, Diana. You and your sweet ladies make my garden a happy place.

Hi, Jenna. I'm glad you like the crazy quilting ATC. I made that for you for our trade. Surprise!

Hi, Roberta! After seeing your wonderful "Worry" portrait, the song "Don't Worry, Be Happy" kept playing over and over in my head. Thanks for the positive mantra and for being a part of my garden, including "Merry." ;-D

Hi, Jacq. You've created a paper addict in me. Wish you were closer so we could replenish our stocks together.

Hi, Noel, what a sweet analogy. In my garden, everything grows with love and caring, and nothing ever dies--never ever. So glad you're a part of that garden.
