WHAT I LEARNED IN THE PAST YEAR--4

ONLINE CLASSES

There are wonderful online class offerings by many artists. Some of my favorite teachers and those who have had the most impact on my new art are Sue Bleiweiss, Terri Stegmiller, Karyn Gartel, Susan Sorrell and Paulette Insall.

What online classes have you taken?

More lovely artwork Fannie!

I have taken classes from Sue Bleiweiss as well, and also found her classes to be among my favorites. I'm glad to see your list - I will check out the other teachers you mention. It is always good to have a recommendation from someone who has taken a class.

I have also taken classes from Jessica Wesolek, which were very good. And then I've taken several digital scrapbooking classes as well. Those varied quite a bit - some were good, some not so good.

What another lovely creation... I have often wondered what children dream of while they sleep, especially little babies. I still love tucking the kids in at night and kissing their warm cheeks. This piece captures all those beautiful memories for me. Wonderful work Fannie.
As far as online classes, I haven't tried any yet!

I find I'm getting addicted to online classes! Especially the ones that have a forum to share ideas with your classmates. This year I've taken a class from Sue Bleiweiss and a couple from Sharon Bloggon. There's so much out there to learn!

I have only taken two online classes. The first was Portraits in Fabric through Quilt University, and the last was Think Like an Artist with Pamela Allen. Both were first-rate. The class with Pamela was especially inspiring and educational for me.

Dream is so precious and sweet. What is in the upper right hand corner? I am enjoying workshop classes and getting so much inspiration from other artists commenting in the forum section.

Ive taken lots of online classes at QuiltUniversity. I am taking one now from Laura Cater-Woods, and have considered taking some from joggles.com too. When you live in the country like I do, it is an easy way to learn new things without having to drive a few hours to classes. And I can go to class in jammies!
