The Evolution of a Face--WIP

Untitled, Mixed Media, 8" x 8"
Fannie Narte

Step 2 completed. I added a line drawing of the "face," which is from my sketch Portrait of Venus, and painted it with white fluid acrylic. The next step is painting the skin color over the white underpainting, and adding shadows and highlights.

See my previous post for Step One, painting the background.

Enjoy,
Fannie

Hi Fannie, I scrolled a lot in your blog, love the flower and the wonderful quilt but I prefer this drawing of a face. The colors, the place of the face and the connecting of the hair and the background it' s all great and amazing and I think it' s a great work you did!!!
Have a good week Wurzerl

This is coming along nicely, as all your work does. Can't wait to see the finished project.

Fannie, this is beautiful! I kind of like the face subdued in the background like that.
