Sing With One Voice--ACEO

Sing With One Voice, ACEO, 2.5" x 3.5"
© 2008 Fannie Narte

This ACEO was created from a piece of fabric painted by Pokey Bolton of Quilting Arts and from a piece of left over fabric I used to create the birds in my "Sing With One Voice" art quilt for the Breaking Traditions exhibit. It will be mounted onto cardstock to construct a Thank You card for Lynn, the curator of the exhibit. She's working energetically to organize, prepare and photograph the many submissions of 12" x 12" art quilts.

I appreciate your visits. Thanks for looking. Have a great weekend!

Orange and purple - complementary colors. What is the tree/flower behind the bird? Great composition. Have a great weekend.
An exhibit called Breaking Tradition is it a local only or online exhibit too?

Thanks, Brigitte and Jacq!

Dove, Breaking Tradition is an exhibit that will hang at the American Sewing Expo in Novi, Michigan next month, and it will also be a traveling exhibit. This is curated by Lynn Krawczyk as a fundraiser to help with Virginia's Fiberart for a Cause benefitting the American Cancer Society. Thanks for your question. Have a great weekend!
