Solitude, Mixed Media, 8" x 8"
© 2008 Fannie Narte

You sit there
You hear my heart
And fasten your eyes
upon me
You say to me

Whatever may be going on in your life, I wish you love, peace and "Solitude."

I came today to get my daily dose of Fannie....and you have blown me away, girlfriend !!!! This is so amazing it takes my breath away! Watching the process was wonderful, but it didn't prepare me for the beauty that would be the finished product. I am in awe !! Can you tell ????

Wow. You ended up with a very nice piece. Don't we all need at least a spot of solitude at times? Hope you enjoyed making it and that she gives you good feelings everytime you look at her.

Inspiration goes full circle, Dear Nancy! I think this piece worked well as a WIP. Every step was a mystery and surprise for me. I kept hoping . . . please don't mess up!

Hi, Jeanne, yes: calm, serene . . . solitude. Thanks for visiting.

Hey, Diana, we inspire each other and "feed" one another's artistic soul--cupcakes, sushi . . . Thanks for stopping by! Thanks for the "sweet" illustration. I'm hungry . . . again!

Lisa, she's saying to you: "You hear my heart." Thanks for feeding my heart with your encouragement and visits.

Hey, Steph! Sounds like you're a busy artist and making lots of friends in different groups. I wish you all the success in all your endeavors. And thanks for thinking of me. All is well.

M, that was a wonderful surprise! The bear turned out nicely. Thanks for letting me know.

Sherry, you bless me constantly. I appreciate our friendship. Thanks for coming into my life.

Thanks, Regina. Her eyes are where I spent most of my time . . . painting, changing, adding, shading . . . Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks, T!

Thanks, Jacq. I haven't done much art quilting lately. Mixed media is an enjoyable new medium.

Brigitte, I have so many more ideas and my "new girls" will be a part of future paintings. I have other projects with deadlines that I need to complete first, though. So just sketching my ideas. Almost filled a book.

Thanks, Ku'u! Your opinion matters. 143!

Thanks for riding along with me during this WIP piece, Timaree. I appreciate your comments.
