The Spirit of Aloha

Our island troops are sharing the Spirit of Aloha through songs, dances and a luau. This is a portion of the mural they painted for their stage. I have been receiving updates from MSgt Sean Iida, and he says that this mural is half done--that was a week ago. By now, I imagine it's finished. Isn't this beautiful?!!!!

Here's another shot of the mural and the Hawaiian flag.

Some of our troops in front of the mural. I don't know their names, but they show their young and generous hearts through their smiling, beautiful and handsome faces.

Another handsome Bruddah--Shaka!

A rainbow of beautiful Sistahs--Alo-o-ha!

This photo doesn't need a caption. It speaks directly to the heart.
We salute you. Thank you for your service--Mahalo.

More faces of our military ohana (family).

Aloha and Mahalo to our troops spreading the Spirit of Aloha.
We support you. We love you. We're grateful to you!

I look forward to the periodic updates and photos from MSgt Sean Iida. At the time of this last update, Sean said the weather was cooling down a bit--105 degrees down from 115 degrees! Whoa! Some hot! He says, "just life in the dessert"--an optimistic, aloha attitude.

I hope he sends a few photos of the luau. Thanks for the updates and permission to post these photos, Sean! Aloha to all of you. We're proud of all of you. Take care of yourselves.

Share your aloha to our troops by leaving your comments to this post. I'm sending them this post's link.
