Tote Bag--Violet Eyes Fabric Panel

Violet Eyes Fabric Panel

 Quick and Easy

A quick and easy project using my fabric panels: Fuse a fabric panel to a piece of your favorite fabric.  In this project, I centered (sort of) and fused my panel to a square (sort of) of commercial batik, fused and stitched that unit to a purchased tote bag from your favorite hobby store and . . . Voila!
A cute bag to carry your yarn and knitting or crochet needles,

or carry your gym towel, membership card and iPod,

or carry your journal and favorite pens, markers, pencils . . .

or . . . take it shopping with you . . .

or how about putting freshly baked goodies wrapped in colored cellophane, tied with yarn and add a friendship note written on handmade paper and giving it to your friend who's joining you for lunch at your favorite cafe--

okay, forget the handmade paper, iPod, gym card . . . and

give your tote bag to your six-year-old granddaughter, who will fill it with her favorite things.

Imagine . . . create . . . share . . . and a bit of silliness too.  Enjoy!
