Waiting for Christmas

Today I used an analogy of Christmas gifts under the Christmas tree to two different people in two separate conversations.  "Waiting for Christmas" was inspired by those conversations.

Just in case someone out there is interested in my conversations and analogy, here it is:

My Conversations

In one of my conversations, I was offering encouragement to a loved one for the things that are in our future that we cannot see because our current situation may be filled with sadness and emotional turmoil, which can blind us with a negative outlook.  But if we look at our future with a positive outlook and with possibilities and excitement, magic has room to appear.

In the other conversation, I was explaining that when two people are divinely connected, the two people don't know why the connection was made, but if the two people just show up and interact with one another, the purpose will be revealed one meeting at a time, and whatever shows up will be wonderful.

My Analogy

This is what I shared with both people:

"It's like Christmas, and we have all our unknown gifts under the Christmas tree waiting to be opened one at a time, when it's time to open, knowing that each gift will bring us much happiness and joy and when we share those gifts with others, we bring light to all."

 Waiting For Christmas

"Waiting for Christmas" is a symbol of the love and beauty that awaits all of us, which show up in the form of gifts of love and gratitude.
