Love Notes -- A Donation Quilt

Love Notes, Quilt

Tonight is the Christmas party for military families in Louisiana.  Tell a quilter that, and you know what's going to happen, right?  A homemade quilt! A homemade quilt says, "This is how much you are appreciated and loved."

Ku'ulei and Ku'uipo are holding this quilt, which will be a part of tonight's festivities.

The quilt is machine pieced with a simple, modern design, piano keyboard border, and hand quilted with leaves and waves representing growth and journey.  The edge was stitched closed by hand.

Quilted and stitched with love, comfort, peace and joy, this is my wish for all the military families in Louisiana and for all military families everywhere.  Thank you, each and every one, for your service. You are loved!

A Lovejoy quilt!

Tremayne is hiding behind the quilt in this photo, not because he wanted to hide, but because I wanted him to hold it "higher," and it just ended up that way.  ;-D  Thanks, Tremayne!

From my family to yours, Happy Holidays!
